Founded in 2009, Gecko Yoga came about when Jenny decided to combine her passion for yoga with her love of children. Described by Shakta Kaur Khalsa as “a creative and dynamic woman who is deeply dedicated to the heart and soul of children and to the practice of yoga for personal transformation”, Jenny herself says simply: “I want children to reap the benefits of yoga whilst having fun”.
As a result, Gecko Yoga classes incorporate lessons in creativity, self-acceptance, interpersonal skills, environmental awareness and positive thinking, amongst others. These lessons offer children, their parents and yoga teachers alike helpful tools for everyday life and the skills to share them.
“Children are super-sensitive, full-fledged people, with high potency antennae which record every vibration within their vicinity, completely and very deeply."
"In Kundalini Yoga the most important thing is experience. It goes right into your heart. You can radiate creativity and infinity in all aspects of your daily life."
